Bravo Catering is catering the Patrons Ball for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center this year and we are looking for able bodied workers to help serve & dish up the night’s dinner.  Below are some details outlining what is expected and compensation.
-Servers, for Friday, you will need to meet at the large white tent in the parking lot of the BBCW at 4pm.  Please be dressed in white collared shirts, & khaki pants.  On Saturday you will need to meet at the loading dock at the back of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West at 4pm.   Please be dressed in a white shirt, black pants & shoes.  You must be able to carry a large tray with plates.  Please be clean shaven and have a clean appearance.  Ladies should have their hair pulled back off their shoulders.
-Dishers, for Friday, you will need to meet at the large white tent in the parking lot of the BBCW at 4pm.  Your duties will include bussing and scraping dishes (not dish washing).  On Saturday, you will need to meet at the loading dock at the back of the Buffalo Bill Center of the west at 4pm.  Your duties will include plating up dinner in an assembly line fashion.  Please be dressed in clean and professional attire (jeans are ok).  Ladies should have their hair pulled back off their shoulders.
-Both servers & dishers will be paid the same rate of $15/hr and will be fed dinner at the end of the night. Payment will be arranged through King Temporary Employment Services in Cody WY.  Bravo Catering will pay any charges assessed by King Temps.  Expect to work from 4pm until 10-12pm.

A couple years ago I attended college there and it was a wonderful experience. I do remember you guys offering outdoor education degrees and other degrees of that nature. I now currently work at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort in Southern Utah near Zion National Park. We are a large resort settled on nearly 4,000 acres. We roughly have about 700 guests come through our doors daily. We offer a ton of different positions all throughout the resort, such as front desk, housekeeping, recreation, maintence, kitchen staff, and wranglers. After attending college there I remember a lot of kids always looking for summer jobs or interships. Here at Zion Ponderosa we offer both. Bighorn National Forest - Seasonal Temporary Job Announcement - Recreation GS-4 and GS-5

The Bighorn National Forest is still seeking applicants for a couple summer seasonal positions. These positions are located out of Greybull, WY. Communications Summer Intern - 2017
Tri-State is an electric utility.  We have a Communications Summer Intern opportunity for 2017. Students who have successfully completed two (2) to three (3) years of undergraduate study towards a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from an accredited college or university are encouraged to apply.

This summer position offers students hands on opportunity to work in and learn various aspects of power utility Communications functions.  Projects may include the following:
·         Assists communications group to expand its social media presence across platforms. Summer is also the busiest season for Power, Tri-State’s corporate branding character/mascot, events so the Summer Intern will provide needed bandwidth to help achieve goals to expand social media and provide Power event support to our member cooperatives.
·         Under supervision, responsible for creating content for Tri-State’s (including Power) social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and possibly Instagram and/or Snapchat. Content will include short videos, text and designed images.
·         Assist with Power events, promotion and live social media postings.  (Please note that some of the activities involving Power may require going outside of the normally scheduled work hours but no more than a total of 40 hours per week.)
·         Contribute to marketing campaign work.

Job Requirements
·         Computer experience/knowledge with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Microsoft Word, SmartSheet, Dropbox.
·         Advanced knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and SnapChat
·         Graphic design and photo editing skills.
·         Video production – ability to create short videos for the web and social media.
·         Effective oral and written communication skills are desired of applicants as well as organizational skills.

Duration and Work Schedule
·         The duration of the summer internship will be from about the end of May until the end of August.

Intern Title: Curatorial Intern

Overview:
This internship provides experience to a student exploring career opportunities in art
history. The intern will be introduced to curatorial practices including handling objects;
researching the collection; interpretation of our permanent collection; and aspects of
special exhibition planning. The intern will have an assigned project to complete during
the defined period of the internship, but will also participate in all aspects of the curatorial
department for broad exposure to museum functions.

Level of Responsibility: Reports to Curator and Curatorial Assistant, Whitney Western
Art Museum

The intern will also be expected to interact with other departments regularly, including the
library (research), education (interpretation), IT (website), and collections management/
conservation (object handling).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend and participate in Center internship seminar and other activities
• Work alongside curatorial staff on routine projects or tasks that may come up and
be of educational value
• Work on one or more of the specific projects listed below, as it pertains to skill set
and professional or academic interests

Social and Digital Media 
Preparation and Production
The Whitney Western Art Museum plans to further develop its digital media presence and
seeks an intern who has skills and interest in filmmaking and writing for the web. Tasks
may include:
• Preparing and editing web, audio, and/or video content
• Filming and editing artist interviews, lectures, and symposia
• Creating new content for the museum’s Interactives page (See here: http://

• Contributing to the museum’s blog and social media outlets

Proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro CS5, WordPress, and Photoshop are highly desired, as is

Exhibition Planning
Albert Bierstadt: Witness to a Changing West
The Whitney Western Art Museum is currently organizing the exhibition Albert Bierstadt:
Witness to a Changing West to premiere in 2018. Bierstadt (1830–1902) is best known as
America’s premier western landscape artist. He was also a renowned history painter, a
rarely discussed element of his legacy. This major exhibition will address Bierstadt in
context of his treatment not just of majestic mountains and lakes but more prominently of
bison and American Indians, who he approached as key subjects for his art. Tasks may
include:
• Researching Bierstadt and his artwork included in the exhibition
• Helping brainstorm and develop interpretive materials and programs
• Contributing exhibition-related content to the museum’s blog and social media
outlets

Research and Content Development
Contemporary Artist Research
The Whitney Western Art Museum plans to undertake a major survey of its holdings of
modern (post-WWII) and contemporary art. This project may involve the following tasks:
• Conducting traditional art historical and art market research
• Conducting surveys and condition reports in art storage vaults
• Compiling art news in weekly digest for curatorial review
• Requesting of contemporary artists and/or their representatives high-resolution
images and image use rights

Gallery Talks
Engaging with museum visitors is a critical function of curatorial departments. The
successful candidate would develop a public program around a work of art or theme within
the Whitney’s permanent collection display. Tasks may include:
• Research on topic of choice pertaining to on-view Whitney collections
• Announcing and delivering a 15–20 minute talk to the public

Qualifications:
• Open to advanced undergraduate or graduate-level students in art history or related
field
• Requires general knowledge of art history
• Knowledge of western American history and/or art is helpful
• Previous research experience is helpful

USDA- Animal and Plant Health Services (APHIS)-Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) is advertising for an individual to work on pest surveys and related cooperative management programs using pesticides and/or Biological Control techniques in Wyoming.

JOB TITLE: PPQ AIDE (GS-3) and PPQ Technician (GS-4)

SALARY: GS-3 earns $12.53 per hour
                  GS-4 earns $14.07 per hour

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to:

•Conducting insect pest and weed surveys, biological control agent collections and releases, trapping and surveillance programs.
•Conducting suppression programs which may involve aerial application monitoring, conducting ATV ground treatments, collecting environmental monitoring samples, and other activities related to pest management with pesticides.
•Accomplishing all related record keeping, data entry, mapping and communication as assigned
•Cooperating closely and working effectively with rancher/farmer, county, state, university, tribal and federal land management agency personnel as required.
•Operating 4x4 vehicles supplied by APHIS.  Some work activities may also require the extensive use of off road ATV/UTV equipment.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS: Activities will occur throughout Wyoming.  The majority of this work will occur from mid - May to mid-August.  There may be limited opportunity for work outside of this time frame.

TRAVEL: Employees will be expected to travel and travel may be extensive, i.e. several weeks per month.  Travel expenses will be paid for by APHIS.  In most, but not all, situations employees will be returning to their home (duty station) for week-ends.

DESIRABLE SKILL/EXPERIENCE THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED:

•The ability to work constructively and effectively with the rancher/farmer community, and the federal, tribal, state, county cooperators involved as well as with co-workers.
•The ability to follow guidelines and instructions, to be self motivated and to work effectively and independently with little direct supervision.
•A ranch/farm or other agricultural background is desirable but not required.
•An academic background or interest in biology, entomology, agronomy, horticulture, agriculture, pest management, range management or related field is desirable.
•Experience in operating ATV’s and 4-wheel drive vehicles is desirable but not required.
•Experience in using computers and handheld devices is desirable but not required.
•Willingness to work in rural and/or remote areas and the ability/potential to use maps/GPS to track and accurately record locations in such areas.
•In addition to the “skill/experience considerations”, listed above, APHIS will consider the potential of the individual selected to work “seasonally,” for the next one to multiple years.

OFFICIAL DUTY STATIONS:  Duty stations will be the employee’s official Wyoming residence.  Travel costs, etc. will be calculated from that location.

WORK HOURS:  Full time employees will normally work a tour of duty of four 10 hour days to total a 40 hour work week plus necessary overtime.  Overtime work involving weekends, holidays, or longer than the tour of duty is unlikely but may be required based on program needs.

TRANSPORTATION:  USDA will provide a vehicle and pay for vehicle costs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Assist in training and instruction on all aspects of general and landscape construction
*Digging, planting, raking, watering and clean up of landscapes
*Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks
*Collection of company owned equipment and tools at the end of the day
*Safe operation of the following equipment:
Skid steers and mini excavators, tillers, aerators, gas saw, mixers, compactors, edger, string trimmers, chainsaws, backpack sprayers, chop saw, skill saw, laser level, blowers etc.
Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools
*Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day
*Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company
*Drive company vehicles (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members on routes
*Maintain on site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors
*Monitor and maintain irrigation controller (changing times, replacing heads, etc.)
*May be asked to help with snow removal in the winter months

Required Skills:
*Ability to read and build from scaled plans
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
*Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
*Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
*Ability to work around bees, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
*Must wear work boots, company shirts and present yourself in a clean and polite manner
*Must wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required
*Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others
*Valid WY Driver’s license and good driving record
